Hi, my name is Willie. I am a dedicated veteran and family man with a long record of service, leadership, and resilience. Over a 24‑year career in the United States Army, I served as a Field Artillery Cannon Crewman and progressed through every position from cannon crewman to Chief of the Firing Battery. Among my most meaningful assignments was my service as a Drill Sergeant from 1991 to 1994, a role in which I trained, mentored, and shaped new soldiers—instilling discipline, technical proficiency, and the values of teamwork and accountability. My military career was recognized with multiple awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal (second award), reflecting sustained superior performance and commitment to duty.
Following military retirement, I continued my commitment to public service with an 18‑year career at the United States Postal Service, where I served my community with the same work ethic, integrity, and dependability that defined my military service. Outside of work, my wife Racheal and I have built a life centered on family and outdoor pursuits. We are parents of two grown children, JaMaree and Treston, and we cherish time spent together—particularly activities that get us outdoors. Fishing and other outdoor pursuits are sources of restoration and joy, and they reinforce the active, engaged life I strive to maintain.
