Tyrone Wilson is a 71-year-old veteran who retired after 23 years in the US Air Force. He is a husband, father, Uncle, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a child of God.
He is a member of the Toros Motorcycle Club known as Bodyguard that is actively involved in the community donating their time and funds to less fortunate children during the Christmas Holiday. He is a kind gentle sole to everyone, one of those guys that would give you the shirt off his back.
He judges no one. He is such a modest person, asking anyone to donate has been very difficult. He has been married to his wife for nearly 42 years. He is currently going to in-center hemodialysis three times a week for four hours at each visit.
For medically cleared donors, giving the gift of life through living kidney donation has been proven to be very safe. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery. A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save Tyrone’s life with the other!
