Let me proudly introduce myself.
My name is Roger Z. Esquibel III. I’m 54 years old. I joined the United States Marine Corps in 1991. I met my future wife, and we got married in 2001. We have three beautiful daughters; their ages are 23, 21, and 12. I attend my youngest daughter’s activities, and I try to stay active with her games and other activities but sometimes dialysis just burns my body out.
I am really looking forward to watching my two oldest daughters get married and have kids of their own, so I get the chance to spend time with their families and my grandbabies. I also would love to be able to see my youngest daughter graduate from high school and college.
I was active in the community and had a full-time job as a customer service agent, and I look forward to continuing that once I receive a kidney transplant. I enjoy helping people out and look forward to continuing to do that. I enjoy leisure activities such as bowling, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
Since October 2021, I have been dealing with end stage renal disease (ESRD) and have been reliant on dialysis for my survival. My life before kidney failure was good, and I feel that receiving a kidney would give that all back to me, and more.

For medically cleared donors, giving the gift of life through living kidney donation has been proven to be very safe. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery. A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save Roger’s life with the other!
Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!
