My name is Reginald, and I served in the US Army for 10 years and 11 months as a Light Wheel/Power Generation Mechanic. I did Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Kitzingen, West Germany; Fort Carson, Colorado; Camp Humphries, South Korea; and Fort Hood, Texas. I really enjoyed serving my country and taking on leadership roles throughout my career.

After leaving the military, I got married again and now have a blended family of 5 sons, 1 daughter, 6 grandsons, and 3 granddaughters. My wife and I have fostered over 100 foster children. Our mission was to first give them a safe place to live. We showed the kids that they can be loved and cared for. We have taken some of the children to Disney World, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Six Flags Maryland, New York City, and a cruise to the Caribbean.

We are now retired and have settled down, waiting for our next chapter in life. I started peritoneal dialysis in October 2023. I am more than ready to receive a new kidney.

We need you to help us support Reginald.  Whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor,  you can make a profound impact!

Living kidney donation has been proven to be safe.  There are no long term consequences to the donor.  After recovery, donors can live a normal life with one kidney.

DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the  evaluation or surgery.
