Wishing a very happy Kidneyversary to @dovetransplant Team 8 - Margarite Dispirito and Wil Serrano!!!
Margarite was bound and determined to be a DOVE donor. She flew from Panama City Florida to Bethesda to undergo surgery. She met her recipient, Wil (a Veteran who served over 30 years in the Navy). They have considered each other family ever since.
Margarite - continues to advocate for DOVE. She runs bake sales, shares information and materials at local farmers markets, and knits beautiful blankets for Veteran recipients.
DOVE is blessed to be a part of Team 8's journey and to cultivate and grow this beautiful community.
