My name is Michael and I served 4 years in the Marine Corps. During my tenure I served at MCAS Cherry Point, as an Aviation Operations Specialist with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
I was responsible for the management of the logistics and administration of aircraft missions, ensuring flights run safely, and efficiently by scheduling, dispatching, and creating flight plans.
After my service, I briefly served on the North Carolina Highway Patrol, as a state trooper. I eventually returned to my hometown of Chicago where I was employed as a US Postal Service letter carrier, I carried mail for 33 years, having retired in 2022.
I was recently married to my wife Marsha in 2022. I have 3 children – 2 in North. Carolina, and 1 in Maryland, Tamara, Travis, and Alex.
I’ve been battling kidney disease for several years and have been on dialysis since 2023. I stay active, while awaiting my transplant with a part time job that I am fortunate to make my own hours. My interests include, riding my e-bike, playing darts, and cruising in my vintage 1966, Ford Ranchero, going to car shows and playing Words with Friends.
