I proudly served in the United States Army as a Personal Records Specialist (E4). During my time in the military, my greatest joy came from traveling the world and experiencing different cultures.

After my service, I dedicated 40 years to government work as a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service. I also served as the Executive Vice President of the N.A.L.C. Branch 41 union, where I found deep fulfillment in helping my fellow workers and advocating for their needs. Providing support and services to those on the job was always a priority for me.

I have been blessed with a wonderful family—happily married for 37 years, with three amazing children and three beautiful grandchildren. Martial arts have been a lifelong passion of mine, and I am also an avid fan of boxing, basketball, and football. I am deeply committed to my community and believe in the motto, “Each one, teach one, teach one,” as I strive to give back and make a positive impact.

I am honored to be a member of the Prince Hall Masonic Order, holding the esteemed title of 33rd Degree Mason. I’ve also been a proud Prince Hall Shriner of the A.E.A.O.N.M.S. since 1985, cherishing the bonds and values this fraternity instills. Through all the paths I have walked, and leave a lasting legacy of kindness and service.

For the past four to five years, I have been living with kidney disease, which has now progressed to Stage 5. I am currently undergoing dialysis but am facing this challenge with strength and resilience, committed to doing what it takes to keep moving forward and being there for my family.

For medically cleared donors, giving the gift of life through living kidney donation has been proven to be very safe. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery. A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save Luther’s life with the other!

Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!
