Kidney Transplant Candidate | Veteran | Pastor | Community Servant

I am Apostle Lawrence Aldridge Reeves, Jr., a proud United States Air Force veteran. I began my service in Air Police and later transitioned into administrative support, where I earned a Top Secret SIOP-ESI clearance working with B-52 combat crews. My military experience taught me discipline, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to serving others.

After my service, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from North Carolina A&T State University and an MBA from Atlanta University (now Clark Atlanta University). I later received honorary doctorates in Divinity and Biblical Studies. My civilian career included leadership roles with the Social Security Administration and serving as Vice President of an environmental engineering firm. I also spent more than 25 years teaching business, mentoring the next generation of leaders.

I founded Trinity Fellowship Ministries, where I have served for over 25 years, focusing on ministry to the homeless, seniors, and underserved populations. Faith, family, and service are the foundation of my life and calling.

I was blessed with 47 years of marriage to my late wife, Beanie. Together we raised four wonderful children. I am a proud father, grandfather of seven, and great-grandfather of seven. My family continues to be my greatest joy and support.

I have lived with kidney disease for nine years, and my kidney function is now critically low. I urgently need a kidney transplant to continue the mission God has assigned to my life—to seek and save the lost, serve my community, and pour into others through ministry. A transplant would allow me to regain strength and return fully to the work I love.

In my free time, I enjoy fitness, golf, reading, and community outreach. After receiving a transplant, I look forward to being active again and continuing to serve those in need.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. Your willingness to consider organ donation brings hope and life to families like mine.

For medically cleared donors, giving the gift of life through living kidney donation has been proven to be very safe. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the  evaluation or surgery. A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save Lawrence‘s life with the other!
