“I am asking someone selfless to donate so that I may give to my country again. As a Veteran, husband, father, and passionate American, I implore you to help.”
Jason Edmondson is a 50-year-old Army veteran, husband, and proud dad of a 22-year-old daughter. Jason served as an ammunition specialist and has been awarded National Defense Service Medals twice.
For 18 years, Jason has been living with a kidney disease called IGA Nephropathy—the disease has attacked his kidneys and he now relies on hemodialysis to survive. Jason hopes to continue to serve his fellow Texans by running for political office.

For medically cleared donors, giving the gift of life through living kidney donation has been proven to be very safe. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery. A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save Jason’s life with the other!
Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!
