My name is George Willis, and I served in the USMC from 1974 to 1977 as a 0331 Machine Gunner and am a Vietnam-era veteran. I saw the world while traveling in the Marines and would love to get out and travel the world again.
I worked most of my life as a construction dump truck driver and spent the last 10 years of my working career as a medical supply tech at the Boston VA before retiring 4 years ago, in 2020.
I have been blessed with two great kids, Anthony and Ashley. Unfortunately, my kidneys failed 2 years ago. I really miss traveling and hope to get back to it someday if I receive a kidney.
For medically cleared donors, giving the gift of life through living kidney donation has been proven to be very safe. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery. A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save George’s life with the other!
Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!
