I met my wonderful girlfriend Peighton while I was on active duty, and we just celebrated our first anniversary. She is the light of my life and is always finding new, exciting things to drag me along to. We hope to get married in a few years and continue our adventures together.
I was diagnosed with CKD in 2024. I have FSGS caused by a rare genetic mutation. Both my father and aunt were also diagnosed with kidney disease and have received kidney transplants. I currently perform dialysis treatments at home every night for 9 hours. It’s an exhaustive process that leaves me feeling drained and often unable to get out and about throughout the day. It also limits my ability to travel far from home and visit family and friends around the country.
I love doing anything related to the outdoors, from hiking and camping to white water rafting. I am also a lifelong Boy Scout and currently serve as an assistant scoutmaster with my local troop. The kidney disease and dialysis have made it extremely difficult to engage in my hobbies on a regular basis. I am greatly looking forward to being able to get back to the things that I love after a transplant. I am excited to see where life takes me after receiving a transplant!
We need you to help us support Conner. Whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, you can make a profound impact!
Living kidney donation has been proven to be safe. There are no long term consequences to the donor. After recovery, donors can live a normal life with one kidney.
DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.
