Hello, my name is Clyde, and I am 70 years young! I am still very active and energetic, and I am still working a full-time job. I love to work with my hands and helping people, so on most days you can find me after work doing little side jobs for others. In my spare time, I also enjoy horseback riding, watching sports, and traveling.
I proudly served in the US Army and rose to the rank of Sergeant. I had two jobs during my military career: 76 whiskey – aircraft refueling and 76 yankee – supply. I am a big fan of watching military movies, because I will always be a soldier at heart!
My wife Marcia and I have a blended family with four children and six grandchildren. And I just received word that we have a new edition in our family; our son just had his first child on May 17th. I can’t wait to meet her! I love spending time with my family.
In 2018 I had some testing that found high creatinine levels, so I decided to see a nephrologist. My blood pressure eventually became harder to control. In 2021, I went to an Integrative Medical doctor who helped me get my BP under better control by using supplements and changing my diet.
In late 2024, my kidney function severely declined from chronic kidney disease (CKD), and my doctors began to prepare me for dialysis. We were hoping I would get a transplant before that happened, but I will be starting dialysis in June 2025.
Unfortunately, I have family members who are ineligible to donate, and I have one brother on dialysis for CKD and my other four have passed away from it. I am now looking for a special person that feels led to help me. I would love to continue to be there for my family, so I can watch them grow and thrive.
