My name is Anthony, and I am a 52-year-old U.S. Army veteran. I proudly served 10 years on active duty with the 101st Airborne Division as a 42D Dental Ceramist. After leaving the military, I spent several years working at the Medical College of Georgia before transitioning into restaurant management, where I built a 25-year career. Throughout both professions, one of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been identifying, mentoring, and developing talented people.

Three years ago, I was diagnosed with kidney disease, and I have now been on dialysis for the past two years. Living with kidney failure has taught me not to take a single day for granted. It has also shown me the incredible compassion that exists in the world. The willingness of complete strangers to consider giving the gift of life through organ donation is a testament to the very best of humanity. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has taken the time to hear my story and support me on this journey.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors. Whether it’s kayaking, hiking, enjoying watersports, or simply making memories with my family, those moments mean everything to me. Receiving a kidney transplant would allow me to return to the life I love and create many more meaningful memories. Once I am fortunate enough to receive that gift, I hope to give back by volunteering my time to help others facing similar challenges, honoring the generosity and kindness that have carried me through my own journey.

We need you to help us support Anthony.  Whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor,  you can make a profound impact!

Living kidney donation has been proven to be safe.  There are no long term consequences to the donor.  After recovery, donors can live a normal life with one kidney.

DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the  evaluation or surgery.
